Stephen McMennamy is an art director based in Atlanta, he was introduced to Instagram in 2012, and from there his photography grew. Personally, I like his artwork and I think that it's really creative, I'm not as creative as a lot of people, so I know that it's hard (but I'm still a good artist). My image pays Homage to Stephen McMennamy because it's in his style of art/photography, and, I think, if you didn't know I'd done it, you might just think it was an example. I mean, his image quality if much better than these stock photos, but it's still good.

Both of these photographers use exclusively black and white, and they both try to capture emotion with in their pictures (I think Schlesinger does a better job of it, personally) .
As I previously mentioned, Crouser was boring and I didn't like his pictures, so Schlesinger is my favorite. I really liked the way she talked about her photos more than her photos themselves ( but I really liked her photos too) They're both trying to tell a story within their work, and they're both very open about how odd they are and how odd their work can be. Michael Paul Smith uses models for his work, which I think is genius. Maggie Taylor uses old photos, scans them, and makes it her own using Photoshop.
I don't think that I can choose which one I like the best. They are both so creative and just amazing. They both embrace their weirdness, and I think thats great. Josef Koudelka is a Czech–French photographer born on January 10, 1938, in Moravia. Besides being a street photographer, he also has 3 books out (that I can honestly say look pretty interesting). And he has won four awards for his photography.
I am personally interested in his work because he takes these beautiful pictures of what HE thinks matters, not what the public thinks matters. Also, they are just so pretty and the fact that they help tell a story is just so cool. I was thinking for the project that I go somewhere that a lot of people go to and just take pictures of what people may not really notice. I just want to say that I wanted to cry the entire time I was doing this and it made me want to die. It was difficult as all hell to do in STUPID PIXLR . The ENTIRE THING WAS HARD TO DO!!! I want to cry still.
Shadows can be a subject in photography by making them the focal point of the picture or by using someones' shadow. The patterns in shadows make them interesting because shadows always look different, and it's impossible to make it look alike to one another. Light is the only reason we have shadows in the first place. The way you place your light source makes a HUGE difference in what the shadow looks like.
Before: After: The filter I used was called "Hope" and I actually really like it, I was not expecting to like it this much. I think that it made it quite a bit stronger than before. I think people choose to add filters to add a level of potential excellence that the photo didn't have before.
If I could go anywhere to photograph an animal, I think I would go to Asia or Africa. Asia has so many different types of Tigers, it's crazy. And the leopards are all so beautiful. Africa has all of these beautiful animals as well. That's what I would do
I think that memes are popular today because the people who create them learned to be not as socially awkward. I created my memes in pixlr express with the text tool, and I used pictures that i took. I think the meme that is the most successful is the one of my cat. I just find it funny
From watching the TED Talk video of Lisa Kristine, I have learned that there are more than 27 million people enslaved today, which is almost double the amount of people taken from Africa during the entire trans-Atlantic slave trade. There are these giant kilns in India and Nepal where people, entire families, are forced to work for 15-16 hours a day with no food or water, or any breaks at all. It's quite shocking to realize that, even though we're supposed to be free, this kind of stuff still happens. What I don't understand i why more people don't know about this issue.

AmeliaI am quite angry at the world for no apparent reason and I usually want to go take pictures instead of doing anything else in the world (beside my other art). Archives
